Graduating college was one of the most bitter-sweet life experiences I've had. Saying 'goodbye' to my college's football stadium (Roll Tide!), some of the friends I'd had since freshman year, and my beautiful home away from home on sorority row were some of the hardest goodbyes during my senior semester in December 2019.
Despite all the 'goodbyes' and 'see you laters', senior semester also brings extra exciting 'hellos'. 'Hello' to job opportunities, invitations to prestigious honor societies, and grand welcomes into alumna status (and maybe one or two special trips to Gallette's, too). As your graduation photographer, I want to capture everything that has been important to you throughout your collegiate experience: where you studied, where you found your lifelong friends, and where you will soon call your Alma Mater.

So you're ready to book Olivia B. for your graduation portraits...woohoo! I can't wait to meet you and capture your stunning graduation photos. Upon receiving your inquiry, I'll get back to you with all of my pricing information and available session dates (or, you can access that information at the bottom of this page!).
From there, you will be able to choose a date and book your session directly online. Once your session date is chosen and reserved with a $100 retainer payment, I'll share a contract with you to review and sign. Then, you are officially official, and the fun on planning your session begins!
01. initial inquiry & booking your session
Around one-month from your session date, I'll reach out with a session questionnaire to help us prepare for your photoshoot. In the questionnaire, I ask all the necessary questions to guarantee a great experience and the delivery of a portrait album you will love. Whether you need recommendations for hair and makeup artists, input on outfit choices, or suggestions for the best champagne or confetti to bring along to your session, I am your girl!
My goal is for you to feel confident with all the information and preparation you need for your portrait session. If you have any questions or concerns ahead of receiving your questionnaire though, I am always just an email away!
02. session prep & questionnaire
The week prior to your graduation shoot, I'll reach out to confirm our session date, start time, and meeting place for your portrait session. I'll also begin watching the weather to be sure we have nothing to worry about on the day of your shoot.
If there is a need for a weather reschedule, I will inform you of that at least 24-hours prior to the start time of your session so that it is on your radar. My weather policy is to automatically reschedule sessions when there is a 50% chance of rain or higher. Other inclement weather (temperatures below 40ºF or above 85ºF, high winds, etc.) may also impact your session date and result in a session reschedule. Again, as soon as I notice there may be a chance that a weather reschedule is needed, I will contact you to begin making a plan.
03. the week of your session
It's here! It's here! The day has finally come to get all dressed up and celebrate your graduation with a beautiful portrait session. Make plans for a fun dinner after your photoshoot - hey, you do look good, after all! - and don't be afraid to invite a friend or parent to tag along. I am more than happy to include them in a photo or two during your session!
We will spend the session time at your chosen locations capturing lots of beautiful portraits and soaking up all the sweet sights and sounds of what you will soon call your alma mater. I'll guide you through poses to help you look and feel your absolute best, and capture portraits you and your loved ones will cherish forever.
04. shoot day!
Within three weeks of your session date, you'll have your full gallery of images sent straight to your inbox.
From your online gallery, you'll have access to view, download, and share your full-size, high-quality portraits. You'll also have exclusive access to my professional print shop, full of gorgeous print options and products that make excellent graduation and holiday gifts for loved ones. I promise you, there's nothing more your Grandma wants for Christmas than a beautiful framed photo of her 'grown-up' grand-baby! I also have options for wallet-sized prints for graduation invitations, and announcement cards, too.
