It’s especially striking in the early morning or late afternoon light.

Located at the heart of campus, the Green UAB Fountain is a vibrant and lively spot for graduation photos. The splashing water and surrounding greenery make for such a great backdrop. I especially love seeing what flowers are planted there throughout the different seasons!

4. The Gold UAB Fountain by Honors Hall

For a touch of sparkle to your portraits, the Gold UAB Fountain by Honors Hall is a fantastic choice. The golden hues of the fountain combined with the large staircase make for stunning, timeless photos. This spot is perfect for solo portraits or group shots with your fellow graduates.

5. The Blaze Statue by the Business School

No UAB graduation photo session would be complete without a visit to the Blaze Statue. This iconic symbol of school spirit and pride stands proudly by the Business School, making it a must-visit for any graduate!

For those looking to venture off-campus, the 22nd Street Bridge in downtown Birmingham is a fantastic choice. Offering a stunning view of the city skyline, this location is particularly popular with out-of-town graduates. The bridge provides a stunning urban backdrop that contrasts beautifully with the green and gold academic regalia, making for truly unique and memorable photos. Plus, the nearby ‘Wine Loft‘ is a great spot to visit after your session!
