Meet Kenzie – a Senior from Clanton, AL! Kenzie drove to Birmingham for her multiple location Senior Portrait Session, and it was EVERYTHING! Kenzie found me through one of her friends who is on my senior spokesmodel team, so I was SO excited to work with her when she sent her initial inquiry.  I love that Birmingham is such a central location in Alabama for Seniors in local suburbs to travel to for more variety in their photos – which is exactly what Kenzie wanted!

Choosing your Senior Portrait Session

Kenzie chose my 2-hour Senior Collection, which includes up to 4 portrait locations.  It can be difficult to decide on what look you want for your portraits, so this is the perfect option to make sure you get the best of it all! It’s totally fine to want the city vibe, or classic botanical gardens, but also some shots in a natural field location!  Luckily, Birmingham has so much to offer. We shot at each of these location types which were all within 15 minutes of each other!

The Senior Portrait Session

We started the senior portrait session off at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens for the classic portraits.  I also love starting at this location, because you could have so much variety in your final gallery just shooting here!  After this location, we headed downtown for some fun, dressier shots.  One of my favorite parts of Kenzie’s downtown portraits was how she incorporated multiple looks with the same outfit by adding the royal blue blazer in a few shots! I mean hello professional, yet fun headshots?! 

Once we finished downtown, we headed to the natural area that Kenzie wanted as one of her looks.  This field is just 15-minutes outside of the city, which is so ideal.  You don’t want to spend so much of your session time driving, so it’s best to find locations with a close driving distance!  Kenzie made this location all about HER which I highly recommend. We incorporated her letterman jacket and her blue mustang.  Seriously, I think I need to send it to Ford for her to be their next model, because she’s just STUNNING!
